<p>I do not understand how anyone can function effectively or be themselves in an open plan environment. I’m <span>one of the lucky ones who has an office door I can shut and block out all of the noise. But I think I would have to work from home permanently if we shifted to open plan.</span></p>

<p>I have a workplace with a bit of a “if it doesn’t impact your work then we don’t care” type of attitude and even then I feel like they actually probably would &#x1f605;</p>
<p>But I’ve found the same too in terms of the work from home shift making it all just a little bit easier to hide. COVID was good for one thing!</p>

<p>This is a really interesting one for me. In just about all professional capacities no-one would realise that I have ADHD. There would be signs &#8211; like an ability to make stupid mistakes when I’m doing less interesting work &#8211; but people don’t necessarily associate that with ADHD. They just tend to think I was a bit careless.</p>

<p>Fellow lurker here. So thank-you for drawing me out of the shadows &#x1f602;</p>
<p>Tim here. I’m a lawyer juggling recently diagnosed (but long suspected) ADHD with raising a young family.</p>
<p>The family takes up most of my time but hopefully we can build a little community here and share our journeys &#x263a;&#xfe0f;</p>
